Amman: Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ambassador Dhaifallah Fayez on Sunday received a copy of the credentials of Khaled Abyad as accredited and resident ambassador of Egypt to the Kingdom.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting between Ambassador Fayez and Ambassador Abyad marks the formal commencement of the latter's diplomatic mission in Jordan. Ambassador Abyad's appointment is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Egypt and Jordan, focusing on cooperation in various sectors.
