Land Transport Regulatory Commission Director General Tariq Habashneh and his Saudi counterpart Rumaih Al-Rumaih, discussed on Monday a number of issues between the two countries, including a Saudi decision on the lifespan of trucks and long distance passenger vehicles.
The Transport authority said in a press release that the meeting in Riyadh followed contacts and coordination between Transport Minister Wajih Azayzeh and his Saudi counterpart Saleh Al-Jasser.
It said the Saudi side pledged to consider a demand to defer enforcement of the decision on the lifespan of Saudi-bound Jordanian trucks.
