The school athletes representing Ministry of Education and Jordan School Sport Federation are participating in the International School Sport Federation (ISF) Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, organized in the capital, Manama, from October 23-31. According to a ministry statement Tuesday, director of the ministry's Activities Directorate and head of the participating delegation, Dr. Ajmal Tuwaiqat, said the engagement comes within the framework of Jordan's efforts to support school sports. Tuwaiqat noted the ministry's team, aged from 11-14 years old, will compete in basketball (3x3 males) contests, whereas the chess athletes will also flex their skills in the sports tournament.
