Israeli deputy battalion commander, soldier killed in south Lebanon battles

The Israeli occupation army confirmed the death of the deputy commander of the Israeli Battalion 9308, in addition to the death of a soldier and the serious injury of three others in border battles in southern Lebanon. The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (IBC), which reported the killing of the deputy battalion commander, said on Tuesday evening that the soldier died of wounds caused by rockets fired from Lebanon towards Neot Mordechai, north of the Hula Plain in the Galilee.
