Jordan to Experience Significant Temperature Drop and Rainfall on Saturday

Amman: Temperatures are forecasted to drop significantly on Saturday, bringing pleasant weather to most areas of Jordan while remaining warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) has indicated that starting at noon, the Kingdom will experience atmospheric instability, leading to occasional showers across various regions for limited periods. According to Jordan News Agency, the afternoon is expected to bring heavier showers, particularly in Jordan's southeastern areas, accompanied by thunder and hail. The JMD has issued a report warning of reduced horizontal visibility caused by dust, especially in the Badia regions and along highways. There is also a risk of flash floods and hail in valleys and low-lying areas in the southeastern regions. The weather conditions are forecasted to continue into Sunday, with a slight drop in temperature, resulting in pleasant weather in most areas and warm conditions persisting in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. I n Amman, temperatures are expected to range from a high of 22°C to a low of 12°C, while Aqaba will experience daytime temperatures of 30°C, dropping to 18°C at night.
