Jordan to Host Inaugural UAESCSI Annual Meeting.

Amman: For the first time, Jordan is scheduled to host the annual meeting of the Union of Arab Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (UAESCSI) next Thursday. The meeting will see participation from UAESCSI members representing the Algerian, Palestinian, Lebanese, Moroccan, and Mauritanian councils, along with representatives from similar institutions in Sudan, Egypt, and Yemen. According to Jordan News Agency, the gathering will also include former heads of the Jordanian Economic and Social Council, ambassadors from the participating Arab countries, and a number of officials from various governmental and private institutions who will attend the opening session. The meeting aims to address key issues such as reformulating the UAESCSI's system and discussing the action plan for 2025. The event will culminate in the endorsement of related recommendations, with a final announcement anticipated to be released in this regard.
