Amman: Minister of Transport and Labor Nidal Qatamin met Monday with a delegation from the British Embassy and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to discuss cooperation in supporting transport sector development projects and benefiting from international expertise in strategic planning, digital transformation and service efficiency.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting focused on the ministry's priorities and plans for developing the transport system in line with the Economic Modernization Vision. Qatamin stressed the importance of adopting international best practices and expanding partnerships with the private sector in transport projects to strengthen infrastructure efficiency and improve services for citizens and investors.
The BCG shared its international experience in developing transport and logistics sectors, managing transformation programs, and public-private partnership models. They also discussed innovative digital and artificial intelligence solutions to support strategic project implementation and improve institutional performance.
The meeting included discussion of cooperation opportunities in preparing studies and development proposals, exchanging expertise, and building capacity to support priority projects. The goal is to strengthen the transport sector's competitiveness and contribute to sustainable economic development.
Both sides underlined the importance of continued communication and coordination to explore future areas of cooperation supporting Jordan's transport sector development goals.
