Amman, The Jordan Valley Authority Saturday declared a level-two emergency weather alert across Jordan, urging Jordanians to exercise caution.
The Authority said in a statement that it had taken all necessary measures and preparations by putting control rooms in the Valley Valley regions, the Control Directorate and its affiliated directorates and dam sites into operation.
It urged Jordanians, especially farmers, to exercise caution, follow the weather forecast and stay away from water-gathering areas, dams, valley streams and torrential rains.
