Jordan Valley: Jordan Valley Authority Secretary General Hisham Al-Haisa on Tuesday checked on water projects that are underway in the central and northern valley regions. The tour included an irrigation rehabilitation project in Damia, Shasha'a, and Al-Karamah, which includes the installation of polyethylene HDPE pipelines to feed 230 agricultural units. According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Haisa also checked on the progress of work on a project to establish a new connection line replacing part of the old pipeline with 315mm HDPE pipes to enhance water supply in the summer of 2025. In Tlal Al Dahab, he oversaw an irrigation rehabilitation project, including the development of the current launcher and installment of a new metal mesh and drum screen filters. Al-Haisa stated that the projects are part of the Jordan Valley Authority's efforts to enhance the efficiency of irrigation networks and infrastructure to improve water resources management, reduce water loss, and achieve water sustainability.
