Abu dhabi: Ambassador Majed Thalji Qatarneh has formally presented his credentials to the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, marking his official appointment as the Kingdom of Jordan's resident ambassador in the UAE. The ceremony took place at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
According to Jordan News Agency, Ambassador Qatarneh conveyed heartfelt greetings from His Majesty King Abdullah II to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, along with best wishes for sustained progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people. The ambassador's presentation of credentials signifies a continued commitment to fostering strong diplomatic relations between the two nations.
In his response, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed extended his greetings and appreciation to King Abdullah II, commending the King's wise policies and the close relationship shared by the two countries. The UAE President expressed a keen interest in further enhancing and developing the bilateral ties with Jordan, wishing the Kingdom and its people ongoing progress and prosperity.
The ceremony was attended by prominent UAE officials, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who serves as the UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Presidential Affairs, as well as Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
