Beirut: Israel conducted airstrikes in Lebanon's northern Bekaa Valley, resulting in the deaths of five Lebanese civilians and injuries to six others. The strikes targeted areas on the outskirts of Hermel, escalating tensions in the region.
According to Jordan News Agency, a Lebanese security official disclosed that the air raids hit several locations, including Al-Shareen, Al-Zaghrin, the outskirts of Labweh, the vicinity of Nabi Musa in Sabbouba-Zboud, and Halbata on the eastern slopes of the western mountain range. The airstrikes have raised concerns about the potential for further conflict in the volatile area.
