Amman: Director of Public Security Directorate (PSD), Maj. Gen. Dr. Obeidallah Maaytah, engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing joint cooperation, particularly in the area of training, with Chief of the Palestinian Police, Maj. Gen. Allam Al-Saqqa, and his delegation.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting, which took place on Tuesday at the PSD's headquarters, focused on implementing Royal directives to bolster partnerships and cooperation frameworks with law enforcement agencies both regionally and internationally, specifically with the Palestinian police. Maj. Gen. Maaytah emphasized the PSD's commitment to improving existing collaborations to elevate the capabilities of Palestinian police personnel to achieve optimal performance levels.
Maj. Gen. Al-Saqqa acknowledged the PSD's advancements in various operational fields and its proficiency in delivering security and humanitarian services in line with international standards. He also expressed a strong interest in leveraging the PSD's cutting-edge and accumulated expertise to further develop the capabilities of Palestinian police personnel.
