Jordanian Journalist Ruba Dajani Receives Prestigious Media Excellence Award

Amman: Interior Minister Mazen Faraya honored journalist Ruba Dajani by presenting her with the certificate of the Prince Nayef Award for Arab Security, recognizing her professional media work on security and social issues and her role in promoting public awareness of security-related topics.

According to Jordan News Agency, Faraya praised the contribution of national media in spreading awareness messages and strengthening a culture of security, stressing that responsible journalism plays an important role as a partner to official institutions in supporting public safety and enhancing community awareness.

For her part, Dajani expressed her appreciation for the recognition, saying the award reflects the support she received from the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation and its commitment to producing meaningful media content that addresses current security challenges. She added that the award serves as motivation to continue producing responsible, credible journalism that serves national and societal interests.

She was awarded for her media work on crimes related to digital currencies, which competed against 168 entries from Arab countries in both media and research fields. Her work was ranked first jointly in the media creativity category for its professional handling of an emerging security issue affecting individuals and society and for contributing to greater public awareness.

The Prince Nayef Award for Arab Security is a prestigious regional award granted to individuals and institutions in recognition of outstanding contributions and research that enhance security and encourage innovation and scientific research in security-related fields.
