Amman: The Jordanian Constitutional Court has issued a total of 55 rulings and 18 interpretative decisions since its establishment in 2012 until the end of last year.
According to Jordan News Agency, the data was published in the court's recently released first edition of its magazine, which dedicates itself to detailing the court's verdicts and decisions during the specified period.
The magazine outlines the court's role in solidifying the Constitution as a primary reference and clarifying ambiguities in some constitutional texts, with most decisions made by a majority.
The court's establishment marks a significant development in the Jordanian legal system, particularly in monitoring the constitutionality of existing laws and regulations.
