Amman, The Jordanian Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) won the European Award for Best Practices for 2022, which is granted by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).

The JPMC, in addition to 40 international companies, was selected to receive this award in recognition of its achievements in terms of production and best industry practices, as well as the quality of the company’s products, the JPMC said Wednesday in a statement.

This award reflects the distinguished position of the JPMC at the regional and international levels, said JPMC Chairman Mohammad Thneibat.

He added that the award is an appreciation of JPMC efforts as part of its development plans, to shift towards manufacturing, and achieve the highest international quality standards in production efficiency and competition.

JPMC CEO, Abdul-Wahhab Al-Rawad, received the award at the ceremony held in Brussels.
