JTB Concludes Inspection of Jordan’s Border Crossings for Tourist Readiness

Amman: The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) has completed a series of inspections at the kingdom's land border crossings to evaluate service quality and ensure a positive experience for tourists and visitors.

According to Jordan News Agency, the inspections covered several key border points, including Mudawara, Omari, Durra, Jaber, Karama, King Hussein Bridge, Wadi Araba, and the Jordan Valley. These visits were conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Tourism Police. The primary focus was on assessing readiness to receive travelers and the quality of services provided, especially with the anticipated increase in summer tourist arrivals from Arab countries and Jordanian expatriates in the Gulf region.

JTB stated that this initiative is part of the national tourism strategy, which seeks to enhance cooperation among relevant stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to improve the visitor experience and support Jordan's position as a leading regional tourist destination through coordinated promotional and marketing efforts.
