JU official, Hungarian envoy discuss academic cooperation

The University of Jordan (JU) Vice President for International Relations, Quality and Accreditation, Zaid Eyadat, on Monday met with Cultural Attaché of the Hungarian Embassy in Amman, Regina Suranyi, on means of academic cooperation between the two parties.

 

The two sides discussed mechanisms for enhancing joint cooperation in academic and cultural fields, and the possibility of developing joint academic and research programs, student and faculty members exchange programs between the JU and Hungarian universities.

 

Eyadat said the JU is keen on developing cooperative relations with Hungarian higher education institutions, and is prepared to make more efforts in this field, based on its strategic objectives aimed at developing effective local, regional and international partnerships through sharing experiences and knowledge globally.

 

For her part, Suranyi expressed the desire of the University of Debrecen and the Hungarian National University of Public Service to cooperate with the JU, as the largest and most comprehensive in terms of disciplines in Jordan, and given its good academic reputation, in academic and research fields.
