Irbid: Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) on Tuesday discussed prospects for academic and research cooperation with a delegation from the Russian University of Friendship (RUDN University).
According to Jordan News Agency, the two sides explored opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and the development of joint academic programs, particularly in the fields of medicine, engineering, agriculture, and basic sciences.
JUST Vice President Mona Abu Dalu emphasized the importance of engaging with leading international universities to enhance the university's educational and research standards. She highlighted the potential to strengthen the competitiveness of its alumni both regionally and globally.
Head of the RUDN delegation Anatoly Kirichuk expressed appreciation for visiting JUST's headquarters. He praised its academic level and modern infrastructure, reaffirming the Russian university's interest in building cooperation to benefit both institutions' students and researchers.
Concluding the visit, the delegation toured several research centers and specialized laboratories and were briefed on the university's academic and research facilities.
