KAFD and PSUT Graduate 37 Participants from Tech Horizons Project

Amman:The King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), in collaboration with Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), has successfully concluded the "Tech Horizons" project for the year 2026. The project celebrated the graduation of 37 participants who completed specialized technical training programs aimed at enhancing job readiness.

According to Jordan News Agency, the 2026 training cycle focused on software development, digital applications, and advanced technology solutions, specifically targeting recent graduates in the fields of information technology, computer science, and software engineering.

KAFD Director General Samer Al-Mofleh emphasized that the project supports the Economic Modernization Vision by bridging the gap between educational outcomes and labor market demands. The initiative aims to equip Jordanian youth with valuable technical skills to compete both locally and internationally. Al-Mofleh commended the strategic partnership with PSUT for delivering targeted and impactful capacity-building programs.

PSUT President Wejdan Abu Elhaija pointed out that the collaboration aligns with the vision of Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the University's Board of Trustees, to empower youth through practical learning. She noted that the university's Consultation and Training Center implemented the programs, ensuring a direct link between academic knowledge and market priorities in the rapidly evolving ICT sector.

The Tech Horizons project has targeted graduates aged 21 to 30 in IT-related disciplines, supporting approximately 50 participants across its 2025 and 2026 cohorts.
