KHBP Targets High-Value Investments in Major Expansion Drive

Amman: The King Hussein Business Park (KHBP) is accelerating plans for its next expansion phase as part of an ambitious strategy to attract high-quality investments, stimulate economic growth, and strengthen Jordan's position as a leading regional hub for innovation and business. According to Jordan News Agency, the park's CEO, Ammar Ezzeddine, emphasized that the upcoming development is designed to deliver both immediate and long-term benefits to the national economy by creating a vibrant, sustainable, and investor-friendly environment. Since its establishment in 2010, KHBP has transitioned from a smart business hub for technology and corporate growth into an integrated urban ecosystem that blends work, life, leisure, and education. Recent initiatives at KHBP include the development of ready-to-lease buildings equipped with advanced technological infrastructure, serving as a launchpad for both local and international companies. Ezzeddine stated, "We are moving beyond the concept of a conventional business park to become a self-sustaining community." Central to KHBP's growth strategy is a shift from a traditional leasing model to a real estate development approach, aiming to strengthen financial sustainability and provide investors with long-term, flexible opportunities. This strategy is complemented by a strong focus on environmental stewardship, highlighted by the launch of the park's first integrated recycling center in cooperation with the private sector. Infrastructure works are underway for phases two, three, and four of the park's expansion, with a combined investment of approximately JD8.5 million. The expansion plan includes the construction of a hotel and serviced apartments, enhancing the park's appeal as a destination for investors, entrepreneurs, and business travelers. Over the next two years, KHBP will roll out a comprehensive work program that includes upgrading existing facilities, improving sidewalks and entrances, and expanding public services to create a more investor-friendly environment . The expansion is aligned with a refined investment strategy focused on flexible design, inclusive infrastructure, and a comprehensive support ecosystem. To support this vision, KHBP has engaged an accredited international consultant to develop a land-use master plan. Investors are offered a package of incentives, including tax and customs exemptions, streamlined licensing processes, and priority handling of government services within the park. Founded on a Royal vision to position Jordan as a regional hub for business and innovation, KHBP has become one of Amman's fastest-growing strategic business centers. Its dynamic environment attracts local, regional, and global companies while fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and youth empowerment. Ezzeddine stressed the importance of transparent dialogue with the private sector in shaping a competitive business environment. KHBP maintains ongoing communication through regular meetings, participatory workshops, surveys, and feedback mechanisms. With its exp anded infrastructure, sustainability focus, and investor-friendly policies, KHBP is positioning itself as a key driver of Jordan's economic transformation, offering a blueprint for modern business ecosystems in the region.
