Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II and Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau engaged in a telephone conversation on Thursday to address the latest developments in Gaza and Lebanon, alongside exploring prospects for mutual cooperation. The discussions emphasized the critical need to halt the ongoing Israeli military actions in Gaza and to ensure the ceasefire in Lebanon remains effective.
According to Jordan News Agency: The dialogue between the two leaders also extended to the escalating situation in the West Bank and the pressing requirement to amplify humanitarian aid to Gaza. King Abdullah II expressed his appreciation for Canada’s support towards achieving peace, grounded in the two-state solution framework, and acknowledged its significant contributions to the humanitarian efforts in Gaza.
