Hanoi: His Majesty King Abdullah II met with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam T´ in Hanoi on Wednesday. The meeting focused on strengthening the friendly relations between Jordan and Vietnam, with an emphasis on exploring new horizons for partnership, particularly in the areas of economic, investment, and defense collaboration.
According to Jordan News Agency, discussions during the meeting also highlighted opportunities to expand economic cooperation in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, agriculture, halal foods, and food security. Both leaders expressed a mutual interest in enhancing bilateral ties and fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
The meeting saw the presence of several key figures from Jordan, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah, and Jordan's non-resident Ambassador to Vietnam Saed Radaideh. This high-level engagement underscores the commitment of both nations to advancing their cooperative efforts in various fields.
