Shanghai: His Majesty King Abdullah II visited AgiBot, one of China's leading robotics companies, in Shanghai on Tuesday.
According to Jordan News Agency, His Majesty was briefed by AgiBot Co-President and Chief Operating Officer Jiang Qingsong on the applications of the robots developed by the company, in the fields of industry, logistics, hospitality, and security.
The King highlighted the importance of cooperation between AgiBot and Jordanian universities and institutions, particularly with regard to the development of robotic applications and the exchange of expertise.
His Majesty toured an exhibition showcasing AgiBot's most notable products, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II.
Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat, and Jordan's Ambassador to China Hussam Husseini accompanied the King on the visit.
