He emphasized the Parliament's pivotal role in implementing the political modernisation project, which aims to enhance the participation of platform-based parties, women, and young people in political processes. King Abdullah stressed the importance of cooperation between the Government and Parliament, adhering to the Constitution, to establish new parliamentary practices based on integrity and the State's priorities. He urged the Senators and Representatives to fulfill their oversight roles to guarantee the successful implementation of these modernisation tracks, underscoring the necessity of advancing for the benefit of future generations. Reaffirming Jordan's commitment to its identity and principles, King Abdullah highlighted the country's dedication to achieving a just peace for Palestinians and maintaining the Hashemite Custodianship of Jerusalem's holy sites. He condemned aggression in Gaza and Israeli violations in the West Bank, emphasizing Jordan's role in international peace efforts and humanitarian assistance.
