King Hussein Hospital Engages Canadian Delegation in Healthcare Cooperation Discussions

Amman: Director General of King Hussein Hospital, Hassan Balas, on Tuesday met with a Canadian delegation representing the provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to explore avenues for future cooperation between the two sides.

According to Jordan News Agency, Balas delivered a presentation outlining the hospital's development, the range of healthcare services provided to patients, future expansion plans, and its participation in both national and international accreditation programs.

The Canadian delegation expressed admiration for the high standard of medical services and the professionalism of the hospital's staff across all specialties.

The visit comes in response to an invitation from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, aimed at fostering collaboration, exchanging expertise, and enhancing training opportunities. The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Qusay Balas, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university.
