King Receives NCHR’s 2024 Report on Human Rights in Jordan

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday received the National Centre for Human Rights' (NCHR) annual report on the status of human rights in Jordan for the year 2024.

According to Jordan News Agency, His Majesty received the report during a meeting with NCHR Chairperson Samar Al Haj Hassan and NCHR Commissioner-General Jamal Shamaileh. The meeting reviewed developments in human rights in Jordan over the past year, focusing on recommendations aimed at strengthening the system of freedoms and human rights.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh were also in attendance at the meeting.
