Kuwait City: Kuwait condemned on Tuesday the ongoing actions of Israeli occupation forces and their continued policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people. Israel's cutting off power in the Gaza Strip represents a violation of basic human rights and stands in blatant defiance of international law and humanitarian principles, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
According to Jordan News Agency, Kuwait reiterated its call for immediate intervention from the international community, particularly the Security Council, to halt the Israeli violations. The statement urged for the unhindered entry of humanitarian aid and an end to the starvation and deprivation policies enforced by the Israeli authorities.
