Minister of Labor Yousef Shamali discussed on Monday with the Qatari ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani means to boost the Jordanian-Qatari partnership in various areas, especially in the labor field.
During a meeting, Shamali underlined the importance of bilateral cooperation and utilizing Jordanian expertise during Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and in other labor fields.
The brotherly Jordanian-Qatari relations are based on mutual respect and a common interest to develop and advance them under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the minister said.
The Qatari envoy voiced his pride in the level of the relationship between the two countries’ leaders and peoples, commending the ‘distinguished’ skills and expertise of Jordanian expatriates in Qatar and the Jordanian government’s cooperation in this respect.
