Lavrov: America is fighting Russia in Ukraine, no matter how much it denies it

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that regardless of what the United States says, it is managing the war in Ukraine, supplying it with weapons and ammunition and supporting it with intelligence information via satellite.

Lavrov’s statements came in an interview with the “Moscow, Kremlin, Putin” program, commenting on Washington’s decision to provide Kiev with long-range missiles.

The Russian Foreign Minister added that what is happening is that America has been preparing Ukraine for many years to fight on its behalf to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.

He concluded by saying: “They are leading the war against us.”

Yesterday, Saturday, American media reported that Washington was close to making a decision to transfer ATACMS missiles, which are missiles with a range of about 300 kilometers, which can be launched by multiple launch missile systems (HIMARS).

Russia had previously sent a memorandum to NATO countries regarding arms supplies to Ukraine.

Lavrov stressed that any shipment containing weapons to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia, and stated that the United States and NATO are directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine, not only by supplying weapons, but also by training Ukrainian military personnel on the territory of Britain, Germany, and other countries.

Lavrov also warned that the West’s continued pumping of weapons into Ukraine and fueling the conflict threatens the risk of a direct military clash among the nuclear powers.
