Amman: The Lower House Committee on Public Services and Transport, led by MP Dr. Ayman Badadweh, conducted a visit to Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) to assess the Airport International Group (AIG)'s management of the airport's facilities and review its future projects.
According to Jordan News Agency, the committee engaged with AIG CEO Nicolas Deville, Director of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission Captain Deifallah Farajat, and other stakeholders during the visit. The discussions included operational mechanisms, achievements, recent upgrades, future development plans, and challenges faced by the airport.
Dr. Badadweh emphasized the importance of enhancing service efficiency and improving the passenger experience at QAIA. He highlighted the airport's significant role in supporting Jordan's air transport sector and in bolstering the country's position as a regional travel and aviation hub.
Members of the parliamentary committee commended the level of service provided by the airport, noting its function as a modern gateway for visitors entering Jordan. They also called for ongoing development efforts to achieve the highest standards in line with international benchmarks.
