Amman, The Ministry of Local Administration announced a state of medium emergency in all regions of the Kingdom, as of midnight (Sunday / Monday) as the air depression evolves.
The Ministry asked the (100) emergency rooms in the municipalities, the (20) emergency rooms in the joint services councils and the main emergency room in the ministry, to deal immediately with any emergency that may accompany the weather condition, and to inform the main emergency room in Amman of developments in a timely manner via the Ministry’s emergency system.
The Ministry of Local Administration directed all stakeholders to ensure the readiness of machines, equipment, emergency teams, and maintenance supplies in emergency cases, in addition to following up on the situation in hot areas, valley streams, torrential rains, ferries, and main roads early and continuously, and dealing with any accidents immediately.
The Ministry called on all relevant stakeholders to fully coordinate and cooperate with administrative rulers, operating and other emergency rooms at competent agencies, and to provide the available machines, equipment, cadres, and capabilities to help dealing with weather emergencies and situations, and to share emergency room phone numbers with citizens in various media and on social media.
The Ministry of Local Administration called on citizens who live near valleys, torrents and hotspots in the winter season, to avoid these areas in order to preserve their lives and the lives of their families.
The Ministry also urged citizens to fully adhere to instructions for dealing with the weather, and not hesitate to contact the main emergency room in the Ministry in Amman and contact (064641393) to report any emergency situation due to the weather.
