Long-term precipitation average at 37.2pct

About 37.2 percent of the Kingdom’s long-term rainfall average (8.1 billion cubic meters) has been achieved since the start of the wet season, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation said on Thursday.

In a statement, the ministry revealed that the Kingdom’s dams now hold about 95 million cubic meters or 28.2 of their combined storage capacity of 336.4 million cubic meters.

It noted that the wet season has fed the Kingdom’s dams with 20.3 million cubic meters only.
