Maan: Maan Governor Khalid Al-Hajjaj visited the Maan Governorate Public Works Directorate on Sunday to review ongoing infrastructure projects and assess preparations for the upcoming 2026-2027 winter season.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Hajjaj, accompanied by the head of the directorate, Imran Al Bdoor, was briefed on infrastructure projects scheduled for implementation in 2027, as well as active projects continuing through 2026. The governor's visit aimed to ensure that all projects are on track and that strategic measures are being taken for the winter season preparation.
During the visit, Governor Al-Hajjaj instructed field teams to elevate operational readiness ahead of winter. He called for strict monitoring of road traffic safety elements and directed continuous inspections and maintenance of ongoing street lighting repairs across the governorate. These measures are intended to enhance safety and ensure smooth transportation during the winter months.
Al-Hajjaj emphasized the necessity of executing projects according to established timelines to enhance local infrastructure and improve public service delivery for residents. He also stressed the importance of close coordination among relevant agencies and regular field inspections to ensure projects meet required quality standards and completion deadlines.
