Medical Team at Ajloun’s Al-Eman Hospital Saves Young Man’s Severely-Injured Eye

AJLOUN: A medical team at Al-Eman Public Hospital in Ajloun Governorate successfully saved the eye of a 19-year-old young man after it sustained a severe injury from a wooden stick, which caused the eyeball to rupture and parts of it to protrude.

According to Jordan News Agency, a hospital statement released on Monday detailed that the emergency surgical operation took place in recent days. Ophthalmic surgeon Muhannad Al-Khouli managed to reconstruct the eye and save it from removal, marking a significant medical achievement that reflects the competence of the hospital's medical staff.

The hospital administration highlighted that the ophthalmology department offers advanced services for treating eye diseases and performing surgical operations with high proficiency. It emphasized that this accomplishment represents a significant step in bolstering confidence in the healthcare services provided in the northern governorate.
