Amman: Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat visited the International E-commerce and Logistics Academy, where he examined the key courses and training programs in the domains of digital marketing, logistics, and e-commerce.

According to Jordan News Agency, Smeirat highlighted Jordan's efforts to enhance its digital economy and empower its youth, in line with royal directives and a vision for economic modernization. The meeting, which included Jordan Post Company Chairperson Sami Al-Daoud, Director General Hanadi Al-Tayeb, and Academy President Ihab Abu Dayeh, emphasized the academy's role in supporting economic development by improving young people's skills and providing job opportunities.

Al-Daoud stressed that the academy was founded to realize His Majesty the King's vision of empowering Jordanian youth and upgrading their skills with the latest international training methods. This initiative aligns with the Crown Prince's commitment to advancing digital skills among Jordanian youth to meet the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Al-Tayeb noted that the academy provides young Jordanians with current knowledge and skills in e-business, e-marketing, global marketing, e-commerce, and the use of internet technology in professional settings.

Academy President Ihab Abu Dayeh described the training programs available, including the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship's 100-Young Men and Women Training Program, supported by the Digital Skills Association. This program aims to equip participants with business, digital, and technical skills within three months, preparing them for immediate career opportunities.
