Amman: The Amman-based Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs (RCJA) has issued the first issue of its new monthly report, themed: “Discontent with Israeli Policies: For a More Just World,” for the month of August. The report aims to survey the state of global discontent against Israel, highlighting various international reactions and criticisms.

According to Jordan News Agency, the report was drafted by Dr. Nasr Shqirat, Director of RCJA Studies Unit, and Sawsan Kilani, Director of Public Relations and Media. It outlines Israeli and Jewish voices rejecting Zionist ideology and Israel’s colonial and genocidal policies against the Palestinian people.

In a statement to “Petra,” RCJA Secretary General Abdullah Kanaan emphasized that the report is part of the committee’s efforts in awareness-raising, media, and education, focusing on Jerusalem and exposing Israeli policies targeting the city. Kanaan stated that Israel aims to establish a favorable international political and media environment to execute its plans.

He further noted that global discontent serves as a significant pressure force, contributing to intensified global efforts to challenge the Israeli occupation and reveal its practices. The report identifies various areas of discontent and the active players behind these efforts, including legal, humanitarian, and religious organizations, as well as international figures such as state heads, diplomats, thinkers, writers, and intellectuals.

The document also highlights dissatisfaction with Israel’s policies among academic, artistic, media, and sports circles, and even grassroots initiatives. This global consensus against Israeli policies underscores the occupation’s arrogance while reflecting a human community’s desire for a more just world.
