Zarqa: The Ministry of Water and Irrigation, in cooperation with the judiciary system, has uncovered significant violations involving three water pipelines. These breaches have infringed upon the rights of citizens by illegally connecting homes to supply water to 100 houses in the Zarqa governorate that are not covered by the water service.
According to Jordan News Agency, a ministry statement issued Thursday revealed that documentation regarding the incident has been completed. This documentation aims to assess the quantities of water stolen, determine fines for the violators, and ensure that appropriate legal action is taken in this case.
The ministry has also called on the public to report any violations to help maintain the continued operation of the water sector and ensure access to services.
