Amman: The Ministry of Youth organized a Ramadan Iftar on Wednesday at the Hussein Youth City, with the presence of Youth Minister Yazan Shdeifat. During the event, Shdeifat emphasized the royal care given to youth and the Prime Minister's follow-up on various youth programs and files, affirming the government's support for implementing youth priorities in line with the royal directives outlined in the government's mandate.
According to Jordan News Agency, Shdeifat highlighted the importance of improving the youth work system through the development of programs, infrastructure, and the empowerment of those working with youth by equipping them with the necessary skills for youth work.
Shdeifat stressed the need for collaborative efforts to implement both local and Arab youth programs, especially the activities for Amman as the Arab Youth Capital, the launch of the Arab Youth, Peace, and Security strategy, and the third edition of the King Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work.
He commended the efforts of the ministry's staff in their respective positions, emphasizing the critical role they play as the first point of contact with youth.
