Amman:The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has announced the re-issuance of an international commercial tender to procure between 100,000 and 120,000 metric tons of milling wheat. This move aims to bolster the national strategic stock cover and ensure stability in commodity supply.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Ministry has invited grain trading houses and eligible suppliers to participate in the tender. Interested parties can obtain the tender specification documents from the Ministry's procurement division for a non-refundable fee of JOD 650. The deadline for bidding submissions is set for 1400 local time on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
The procurement process requires participating bidders to adhere to standard qualification criteria. They must provide a valid vocational license and an official trade register certificate, which must be issued no earlier than 30 days before the bid-opening session.
