Amman, The National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA), in cooperation with the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND), on Wednesday launched “My Family” application, which is an interactive platform aimed to developing children’s mental skills.

In a statement to “Petra,” NCFA’s Secretary-General, Mohammad Miqdadi, said the application, which was launched on the sidelines of the activities of National Conference for Early Childhood Development: Reality and Opportunities, reflects the council’s role that views family issues as its top priority.

The app, he noted, aims to provide children with developmental experiences to build and develop their personality.

The platform features a set of developmental skills that children should acquire during a number of age stages, primarily linguistic, social, emotional and cognitive competencies, he pointed out.

Interested parents, families, childcare providers and related associations can access the application at Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qtech.ncfa, or through the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/jo
