New Jordanian aid aircraft arrives in Beirut

Under Royal directives, a Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) plane carrying relief aid landed at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport on Wednesday to support some sectors in Lebanon to overcome their current difficult circumstances. The plane, which is the 12th of its kind sent by the Kingdom to aid Lebanese people, was received by the Kingdom's Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Hadid, and representative of the Lebanese Army Commander, Brig. Gen. Jamal Moukarzel. Speaking to reporters, Moukarzel expressed the Lebanese Army Command's thanks to His Majesty King Abdullah II for the Kingdom's continued support for the Lebanese people. Moukarzel announced 50 Jordanian citizens and their companions returned onboard the plane after unloading aid at Beirut airport. Source: Jordan News Agency
