New PDTRA Board of Commissioners Members Take Oath.

Amman: Three new members of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) were sworn in by Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan on Sunday after a Royal Decree approved a cabinet decision to appoint them. According to Jordan News Agency, the newly appointed members include Deputy Chairman of the authority Shaker Al-Adwan, Commissioner of the Reserve Management Yazan Mahadin, and Commissioner Mohammad Habahbeh. The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Abdullah Al-Adwan and PDTRA Chairman Fares Braizat. The appointment of these commissioners is seen as a significant step for the PDTRA, aimed at bolstering the management and development of the Petra region, which is a key tourism and heritage site. The new members are expected to bring their expertise to enhance the region's infrastructure and tourism strategies.
