Amman: The Refugee Camp Service Committees, alongside advisory bodies, civil society organizations, and popular activities within Palestinian refugee camps across the Kingdom, have voiced their condemnation of the criminal schemes targeting Jordan's national security. They have called for a strict stance against any threats to Jordan's security and the prevention of chaos.
According to Jordan News Agency, the committees issued a statement reaffirming their unwavering support for the country's leadership in addressing attempts to destabilize the nation, sow discord, or disrupt the public stability that Jordan enjoys. This stability is attributed to divine providence and the wisdom of the Hashemite leadership.
The committees expressed strong disapproval of all attempts to harm national security and cause material destruction under any pretext. They urged the public to act responsibly and with a sense of belonging, resisting anything that threatens national unity through incitement, rumor-spreading, or any form of intellectual and behavioral disorder that jeopardizes the safety of the people and the country.
Furthermore, the committees commended the decisive actions taken by security agencies to maintain the safety of the nation and its citizens. They emphasized the importance of these actions in protecting national achievements, bolstering state authority, upholding the rule of law, and ensuring the nation's development and progress. This is particularly crucial in light of futile attempts to fuel tensions, destabilize the country, ignite conflicts, and harm the cohesive national fabric.
Additionally, the committees highlighted Jordan's steadfast role, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, regarding the Palestinian cause. This role is grounded in unchanging principles and represents a genuine and steadfast Arab position. It supports the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, defends Jerusalem, opposes attempts to undermine the cause, and exerts efforts to support the people in Gaza against aggression. The committees reiterated their rejection of plans for forced displacement, affirming that Jordan's stability and national unity remain committed to serving the Palestinian cause.
They concluded by urging all citizens to remain united and work towards the advancement of the nation, solidifying the principles of loyalty and belonging, and rejecting calls for discord and skepticism.
