The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee recommended that the Rusafa Police Command in the capital, Baghdad, assume its responsibilities to enforce the law and make more efforts to maintain the security and safety of citizens. The committee reviewed, during a joint meeting today, Wednesday, with the Rusafa Police Commander, Major General Shaalan Al-Hasnawi, the problems and obstacles facing the work of the Rusafa Police Command, in addition to discussing its role in the security operation that took place in Bataween area in central Baghdad, and uncovering a number of foreign nationalities that were living in this area illegally.
