Doha, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, attended the ceremony honouring leading projects and figures in the field of social work across the GCC countries. The event was held on the sidelines of the 10th meeting of the GCC Ministers of Social Affairs and Development in Qatar. Abdulaziz Al Sindi from Bahrain was recognised as a leading figure in social work. Additionally, Bahrain Food Bank, a conserving bounties society, was awarded in the category of civil society projects, while the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) won in the private sector category for its significant contributions to community service.
