Petra and Zarqa University Collaborate to Boost Media Training Opportunities.

Petra: The Director General of the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Fairouz Mobaideen, and the President of Zarqa University, Professor Nidal Ramahi, signed a cooperation agreement on Monday aimed at advancing media and journalism training initiatives. This collaboration is set to enhance professional development in journalism and media through joint activities such as workshops, training programs, and scientific seminars. According to Jordan News Agency, Mobaideen emphasized Petra's dedication to delivering a "distinguished media message" by partnering with institutions across Jordan. She expressed pride in the agency's collaboration with Zarqa University and the Zarqa Company for Education and Investment, praising the university's academic accomplishments and the company's leadership for their continued support in strengthening national educational institutions. Ramahi highlighted that the agreement will offer practical training opportunities, courses, and seminars tailored for students of Zarqa University's F aculty of Media. This initiative is expected to bolster Petra's role in enhancing the practical and professional skills of these students, aligning with Zarqa University's vision of creating an exceptional educational and training environment through partnerships with prominent institutions. Ramahi stated that this vision is focused on effectively preparing students for the labor market. Safouri further emphasized the significance of the agreement as a means to provide students with unique professional exposure in media.
