Badia: Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Ali, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Hashemite Fund for the Development of the Jordan Badia, presided over the graduation ceremony on Monday for participants in the Jordanian Women Leadership Preparation Program. Organized by the Fund in partnership with the Youth Leadership Preparation Center and the Ministry of Youth, the program graduated 85 women from the Jordanian Badia. According to Jordan News Agency, in her address, Princess Basma expressed pride in the graduating women leaders and commended their dedication to charitable and volunteer work. Her speech referenced His Majesty King Abdullah II's recent directive, which highlighted the contributions of Jordanian women and emphasized the need to empower them further by eliminating obstacles to their economic engagement. The program aims to foster leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and positive behaviors among participants chosen for their leadership potential and influence in volunteer and charitable sectors, she explained, emphasizing the value of continuous learning as a path to self-development, skill acquisition, and confidence. Princess Basma also stressed the importance of empowering leaders who contribute to Jordan's growth, noting that effective leadership is exercised across all levels from families and civil society organizations to workplaces. She underscored the essential role of women in raising a generation rooted in faith, loyalty to the nation, and a commitment to innovation and virtue. Her Highness further called for a future-oriented vision for the leadership program, proposing that it be expanded with structured standards to cultivate youth leaders capable of bearing responsibility. Minister of Youth Yazan Shdaifat affirmed the ministry's commitment to developing young women's skills, enhancing their participation in public life, and providing a supportive environment in alignment with royal directives to empower women. The three-month program, designed to equip emerging le aders with essential knowledge and skills, included training sessions focused on effective leadership, self-management, leadership traits, and modeling successful female leaders from various sectors.
