PM, House Speaker Discuss Strengthening Government-Legislature Cooperation

Amman: Lower House Speaker Mazen Qadi received Prime Minister Jafar Hassan at the House of Representatives on Monday to discuss the role of collaboration between the government and the Parliament in line with the royal directives outlined in the Speech from the Throne.

According to Jordan News Agency, both Qadi and Hassan reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing political, economic, and administrative reforms. They highlighted the importance of fulfilling the aspirations of Jordanians and working collectively toward achieving national objectives through coordinated efforts.

The meeting included participation from key government and parliamentary figures such as Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Abdel Moneim Al-Odat, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Abdul Latif Najdawi, members of the Permanent Bureau of the House of Representatives, First Deputy Speaker Khamis Attia, Second Deputy Speaker Ibrahim Sarayrah, and Assistants to the Speaker Hala Jarrah and Maysoun Qawab'a.
