Amman: Prime Minister Jafar Hassan expressed his condolences on the passing of former Interior Minister Eid Al-Fayez, who died on Wednesday. Prime Minister Hassan acknowledged the significant contributions Fayez made to Jordan throughout his public service. According to Jordan News Agency, Fayez held several key ministerial positions, including Minister of Labor from 1999 to 2001, Minister of State and Minister of Youth and Sports from 2001 to 2002, and Minister of Interior from 2005 to 2009. Beyond his ministerial roles, Fayez held leadership positions in both the public and private sectors. He served as Director-General and Chairman of the Board for numerous companies and organizations and was Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth. He also served as an advisor to the Royal Hashemite Court. Fayez was a recipient of the Order of the Star of Jordan, First Class. Prime Minister Hassan extended his deepest sympathies to the Al-Fayez family.
