Amman: His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Football Association (JFA), has expressed his hope that Jordan's national football team will qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals for the first time.
According to Jordan News Agency, Prince Ali presided over a meeting of the JFA, attended by Board and Executive Committee members, where he emphasized the "spirit of solidarity and cooperation" within the Jordanian football community. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to develop football in Jordan and enhance the Kingdom's reputation on the global stage.
Prince Ali outlined the JFA's strategy to improve the "level of competitions and enhance the quality and vigor of local championships." He also congratulated Al Hussein Club for winning the Jordanian Football League title and extended his best wishes to Al Wehdat and Al Hussein for their performance in the league's closing match.
During the meeting, the JFA approved the financial and administrative reports for 2024 and the budget for 2025.
